Volunteers
We are asking for your help for the 2008-09 school year. We would appreciate you bringing your talent and participating in your child's education through the opportunities within the A.P.T. There is a perfect spot for everyone. Your volunteerism gives your child a sense of confidence and assists them to succeed in their education. Whether you choose to participate behind the scenes or as a person of contact, your children are proud to say you have helped in some way. It takes a community effort to provide our children with the activities our APT sponsors. Without your support and the fundraisers the APT sponsor, we would not have these fantastic opportunities. The Cochise APT has been able to support our children this year by funding: Science Lab Salary and purchasing lab supplies, Computer Lab and Library Assistant salaries, Literacy Materials for grades 1 through 5, Computer and Technology Supplies, Arts in Education Activities, Teacher's Continuing Education, as well as, new document cameras and overhead projectors for each and every classroom!!
If you have any questions or need advice on what might fit your life and time, contact me or stop by the volunteer table the first week before or after school. We will also be having a Newcomer Breakfast on September 4th from 7:30 to 9 a.m., for the newest members of the Cochise Family who may have questions. Please, look over the list and let us know how you plan on helping make the coming year another huge success for all the students within our Cochise Family.
